Viper Alley took center stage as Lincolnshire’s newest nightclub and concert venue, further defining CityPark as a must-see destination for Chicagoland. This bold new concept was brought to life by Scott Greenburg, the creator of CityPark complex as well as Chicago’s innovative theWit Hotel. Morlights’ past collaborations with Scott Greenburg well-prepared us for this exciting opportunity as we joined the design team to create architectural and event lighting for the new, high-profile venue.
Morlights used a distinctive approach to the project, focusing on both overarching identity as well as minute details to pull off a successful, efficient implementation. Our design thoroughly transformed the old warehouse into a high-powered, impressive concert venue. We also kept a close eye on sustainability, reducing the power needs for the stage and utilizing LEDs to implement our efficient design. In the final stages, we leveraged our existing relations with suppliers Evergreen Oak Electric and theatrical lighting distributer Intelligent Lighting Creations to ensure budget-conscious, high-quality materials. Morlights’ lighting design was integral to Viper Alley’s thrilling new identity, further expanding CityPark’s reach and prominence within the Chicago area.
