Working with one of our frequent collaborators, Studio Gang, the 26-story Solstice became one of the first opportunities to experiment with solar carving for energy efficiency. Located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, we worked with Studio Gang to design the lighting for the lobby and first floor amenity spaces. Although the budget was tight, the project successfully reflects the sophisticated and contemporary feel clients have come to expect when working with Studio Gang.
