The College of DuPage was ready for a comprehensive update to its McAninch Arts Center theatre complex, and was hoping to accomplish a majority of the renovations during the summer break to minimize academic disruption. Morlights joined the design team to upgrade the dimming systems in tandem with the rigging and fixture inventory for the four theater spaces and lobby area.
Adhering to the college’s tight timeline, we acted as designer, bidder, and installer of the new ETC Sensor+ dimming racks, which are an ACN-ready network with Unison house controls networked for three processors. For the mains stage, we also used Highend Systems Hog IPC that offered superior control. This was all accomplished in one year, a testament to the efficiency and expertise we can provide to projects. Our relationship with vendors ensured that the three-month installation included the highest quality materials at a competitive price, and made for a smooth, worry-free process for the university and our fellow design team.
