When new owners moved into their beautiful, Lake Shore Drive residence, they reached out to Morlights to make the new condo feel like home. The unit had been designed by out-of-town architects and lighting designers, and the homeowners wanted a Chicago-based lighting designer with local connections to put the finishing touches on their investment. We synthesized the owners’ needs and desires for their new home, and fine-tuned the lamping and the home’s control system to make it easy to alter the lighting. Our standing relationship with local contractors made implementation easy and cost-effective, and introduced the sophisticated and warm aesthetic to the apartment our clients were seeking.
