Well Lit Spaces from Ground Floor to Roof Deck

Well Lit Spaces from Ground Floor to Roof Deck

With a location linked to Boston’s TD Garden and its central transportation hub, North Station, Hub House brings transit-oriented residential development to the next level. The 38-story apartment tower at the heart of the mixed-use Hub on Causeway offers an active, upscale living space closely tied to the city — with Morlights’ design as a key marker for the dynamic modern style that draws discerning residents.

While remaining cognizant of the project’s time constraints and budget, designers created a complete lighting design for the building, crafting thoughtful lighting solutions for a wide range of spaces. A warm, welcoming and modern lobby grounds the first floor; while ample amenity spaces, from a 2-story rooftop Woof Deck for dogs to multiple communal rooms for entertaining and a luxurious pool deck encourage community and channel a fun, active lifestyle.

A nuanced approach to lighting and an eye for special moments permeate the design. Each indoor amenity space offers a slightly different feel, with lighting that enables comfortable cooking, reading or movie/television viewing, depending on the room’s intended use. Outside, a lighted structure above the pool deck creates a celebratory mood as it offers a signature marker for the building, visible across the city skyline.

“Creating designs that enable better living, while working within the framework of a large redevelopment project, is the kind of challenge we love.” — Avi Mor
