“Indulge. Imbibe. Explore.” This is the inviting motto of GT Prime, an exciting new steakhouse from the famed Boka Restauraunt Group. GT Prime’s focus on sustainable and seasonal ingredients is coupled with a highly sophisticated, warm environment for an environment that landed it on Daily Meal’s “Top 50 Steakhouses in America.” Morlights joined Boka to create the lighting design for the elegant restaurant, marking our sixth collaboration with the restaurant group, as well as our third with the interior designer Studio K and our second with head chef Giuseppe Tentori. Our approach brought a high-end, complementary lighting design that accentuated the sophisticated decor and elevated dining experience.
In order to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere with a nostalgic feel, we utilized LED down lights that are known for their romantic, incandescent-like appearance as much as their energy and cost-saving benefits. With wireless and color-tunable control, we created a balanced display that showcased the magnificent interiors of the restaurant, as well as pre-set, gradual transitions to assist the restaurant in gracefully transitioning the dining rooms throughout the day. This control, precision, and amazing environment is indicative of Boka’s values, and our long-standing relationship with the restaurant group is built on delivering lighting design that help the group create amazing experiences. Known for their incredible ambiance as much as their food, Morlights is proud to have assisted Boka in creating multiple new restaurants of the highest order.
