The Empress Casino was in dire need of an update. A popular attraction in Joliet, Illinois, the first impression for visitors was a corroded and damaged lighting display that did no favors for the casino’s initial image. Morlights was called to create a new outdoor light show that would drastically improve the exterior and entrance hall experience for its guests.
Morlights utilized LED color displays for programming that suited the casino’s broad range of special events, including holiday parties, company gatherings, and sports team themes. Moreover, our lighting design was intuitive and easy to use, allowing for overrides or implementation of new displays with solid state controls. These solid state controls required half the amount of energy, as well as reduced maintenance needs. Morlights’ new entry experience set the casino up for future success, and provided a critical improvement to the casino’s first impression.
