With a degree in Lighting Design from The Theatre School at DePaul University, Casey has created hundreds of interactive environments, as well as lighting for live performances, film, television, and music videos. At Morlights, Casey defines what success looks like for each project and continually tracks each detail through completion to ensure client expectations are exceeded. Additionally, with experience as a lighting controls system integrator, Casey serves as lighting controls designer for all permanent installations. Casey’s reputation for exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail, combined with his knowledge of both the art and science of light, make him a valuable resource to each client.
A technical nerd and electronics hobbyist, Casey’s passions include everything from remote control airplanes and helicopters to amateur radio. Continually drawn to nature, Casey spends as much time as possible away from civilization—camping, hiking, and backpacking – with his wife and daughter.
Casey is a member of the Illumination Engineering Society, the United States Institute of Theatre Technology, and holds a Certified Lighting Controls Professional certification from the International Association of Lighting Management. Casey has and continues to contribute to industries standards via the ESTA Technical Standards Program and the IES Standards program.
